“… Cleaning the slate… the ability to create as an artist, and experience the work as a first-time viewer, dropping baggage from the past of what you thought you wanted the work to be.” – Rick Rubin
If you're feeling creatively blocked on a project, it might be time to 'clean the slate'. A decent break can make things feel fresh again, and help us to see our work as if seeing it for the first time... which is a valuable place to come from when you're needing new ideas and a stronger connection to your intuition.
Prompt #2
Easy email signatures with Signature Hound
Signature Hound is a new tool I’ve come across recently for creating email signatures. Here’s what I love about it:
It’s simple and easy to use (nicely designed interface)
There's lots of layout options – choose from pre-designed templates or upload your own html code
You can create shareable links to proof to your clients
It’s free! It used to be a paid product, but they ditched subscription model and now just take donations.
I feel like I might be late to the game on this, but did you know you can rotate guides in Adobe Illustrator?!? Just select the guide and rotate it just like you would any other object on the artboard.
